Automatic Feed Weighing System
An accurate measurement of feed consumption is necessary to keep feeding cost under control and help professional farmers to carry out day to day analysis of production efficiency.The Star AFWS is an accurate and reliable electronic feed scale which consists of a weighing computer and a polyester or galvanized steel weighing unit, both equiped with a load cell.
The weighing computer will display and control:
- Daily feed consumption and daily feeding time up to 10 feeding cycles.
- Total feed consumption for whole growing period.
- It can mix 2 or 3 types of feed.
- It has an alarm for minimum feed inventory in the silo.
- The computer controls the light system and shows water consumption if it is connected to the house water meter.
- By adding the feed supplied to the silo the computer will automatically show at any time the amount of feed in stock.
- For restricted feeding for breeders, it can deliver feed and make a distinction between male and female lines. It also distributes different quantities of feed per feed line by using valves.
- The program fits most feeding regimes like ship-a-day and feeding curve.
