Automatic Silo (Bin) Weighing System
In today modern poultry growing, keeping feeding cost under control will improve grower results. The Star ASWS can offer a simple and accurate feed weighing system to achieve these results.The system consists of 4 load cells per Silo, vertically mounted to all the legs of the feed Silo (Bin) and a weighing computer. Each time the feed sensor in the hopper calls for feed the ASWS will activate the auger motor to deliver feed into the house.
The weighing computer controls and shows:
- Daily feed consumption.
- Total feed consumption of whole growing period.
- Amount of feed delivered from truck to Silo each time and cumulative.
- Accurate inventory of feed in storage at all times.
- Alarm for low feed level in the silo.
- The computer controls the light system and shows water consumption if it is connected to the house water meter.
- The system can be connected to a PC.
- For breeders the ASWS can be used for restricted feeding. A preset quantity and feeding time can be set in the weighing computer as well as skip-a-day feeding. A preset feed quantity can be supplied to 16 individual lines for males and females by using a valve for each feed hopper.
- The system requires no secondary weight feed bin or no additional feed delivery system.
