"Picture control" is the new approach that intends to make the operation of computerized appliances as simple as possible. The Delta-1 does no langer communicate with function numbers and texts, but with clear language independent symbols that immediately make sense to the user what he is in with.

Ventilation systems
The Delta-1 can worldwide be deployed for the following ventilation systems:
- Natural ventilation
- Controllable fans
- On/off fan control
- Combined systems
(controllable and on/off)
- Tunnel ventilation
- Cross ventilation
Intellistep
New aboard the Delta-1 is the 'intellistep' system, which is especially beneficial when both controllable fans and on/off fans are applied. Intellistep adds on/off fans in such a way that the entire ventilation system seems to make use of a 100% stepless fan control. In this way, as on/off fans are comparatively inexpensive, you not only save investment costs but you also bring down the costs of energy. Moreover, a tightly set ventilation pattern may be beneficial to your productivity.
Air inlet, heating, cooling, RH
It goes without saying that Delta-1 also controls the air inlet system mechanism (in 2 zones), the heating system (also in 2 zones) and the cooling facility (padcooling or foggers). The air inlet system can either be controlled by temperature or by negative pressure. In additon, the Delta-1 can be provided with a humidity sensor, which can be deployed both for RH control (including humidification) and for an override of the padcooling system.
Feed, water and lighting
The Delta-1 has the great advantage that also feeding, water metering and lighting can be set and controlled from each individual house computer. Delta-1 makes use of as many as 3 timers.
There are 3 pulse inputs that can be used for a mechanical feed weigher, silo weighing, or for litre counters, thus to ensure that feed and water consumption are recorded.
PC control
The Delta-1 can be remote controlled from your home pc. For this Star Agri has developed the advanced Rainbow+ management system. Here too user friendliness and graphic display were the points of departure. At a single glance the user gets an overview of all his production houses, what systems in said houses are activated and if an alarm has been released in one of the houses.
