Infrared Heaters
The Star infrared heaters direct the heat straight to the birds on the ground, exactly where the heat is needed most. The adjustability of the heater's output helps to save gas when less heat is required. Star Agri offers 4 models to choose from and meets the different needs of each poultry grower.
| Type B20: The ceramic gas brooder emits infrared rays like sunshine towards the floor. When these rays encounter the birds they turn into heat to provide the required comfort within a few minutes. The heater is available with adjustable and non-adjustable heat outputs. The heat output can be varied by adjusting the gas pressure manually or automatically, see illustrations. The heater is equipped with: Cast iron burner house with ceramic burner plate, enamelled reflector, stainless steel air filter, safety device with thermocouple. |  B20 | |
Type S30: Made of stainless steel, available for propane, LPG, butane and natural gas, manual and automatic control. The heater has a large adjustability of heat output, leading to a high heat output when needed and to a small heat output when this is sufficient. This is to minimise the gas consumption when the temperature is high enough. Due to its high adjustability we recommend the use of automatic regulating. The heater is equipped with: Cylindrically modelled burner house made of high quality heat resistant steel, stainless steel air filter, thermoelectric safety device with thermocouple, stainless steel venture tube. |  S30 | |
Type A40: The heater has been designed with a special shape, the spherical gas burner emits infrared rays into an even round structure radiating heat evenly on the brooding area. The A40 has a double gas burner which combusts dust and carbon without leaving any residue in the small gas burner. The A40 is equipped with safety valve or thermostatic valve and a sensor of 1,25 mts. This characteristics present a large advantage with possibilities of progressive regulation from 9-100 % of its potential. The heater is equipped with: Two spherical gas burners of rustless and heat resistance steel, without an air filter, with a stainless steel reflector, with a stainless steel venture. |  A40 | |
Type G50: The unique reflector design allows the G type heaters to spread their heat over a large diameter while limiting the heat below the heater. For the G50 the diameter of the heating pattern is 14 meter. Only 10% of the burner surface has been opened, leaving 90% of the surface for the maximum infrared benefits. The angle of the burner has been calculated to give a greater diameter-heating pattern with an even transition of temperature. The G50 is standard available in 4 versions, without pilot flame, with pilot flame ignition and zone control, with pilot flame ignition and individual thermostat, with electric ignition and zone control.
