Tunnel Fans
A series of large size, quiet running fans particularly designed for ventilation of poultry houses. Star tunnel fans extract large quantities of air at relatively low power consumption and installation costs.
EC50 cone fan, a 50' fan equipped with cone discharge, is the ideal fan for high airflow capacity at high static pressures and low energy consumption. The unique propeller design is self-cleaning and allows the highest efficiency to be reached, while the discharge cone boosts the airflow dramatically. The square fan housing cone discharge and air conveyor (venturi) are made of a strong galvanised sheet-steel. The 3-blade propeller is statically and dynamic balanced for low noise and low vibration. The propeller is available in stainless, galvanised steel and precoated, galvanised steel.

Unbreakable pair insulated housing, pair cone, cast aluminium motor mount, fibreglass reinforced blades, stainless steel hardware, belt drive heavy duty efficient motor, red non-stretch link belt, PVC coated guard, PVC corrosion proof shutters, with very little assembly required. Fan and cones nest to cut freight casts. The 36" supplied with variable speed motor.
Star tunnel fans have a sturdy design, they can be used freestanding as well. This makes it possible to shift them from one farm building to an other, if needed.
The fan house is made of galvanised steel plate and provided with a protected wire-grill at the air-inletside. The air-outletside is provided with aluminium shutters. These will only be opened by the airstream. Shutters opening system: a centrifugal force patented mechanism. Its qualities are the easiness in working and complete realibility.
Star tunnel fans use only high quality three phase motors. Motors with an adjustable frequency can be supplied on request. Blades: six self-cleaning blades made of stainless steel whose shape guarantees highest air displacement at low pressure and with low power consumption.
Central V-belt pulley: an aluminium diecast body houses the fan's central shaft, ballbearings, the shaft of the centrifugal system and the pulley. The compact sub-assembly guarantees trouble free operation over many years. The fans can also come with wire in both sides for using in air recirculation.

STEEL HOUSING CONE FAN
The propeller is attached to a large v-belt pulley in which is embedded a double ball bearing protected against water. The belt transmission ensures low propeller rpm, which ensures high efficiency, low energy consumption as well as low noise. The cone-discharge is made in 4 separate pieces to assist with knock-down transportation and all in galvanised
steel. The shutter is made of galvanised steel for all models, which is stronger than aluminium and plastic. The fan shutter is tightly closed when the fan is not working preventing any air leakage through the fan. The patented centrifugal system prohibits the shutter from being closed by air pressure, keeping the efficiency of the fan at a peak at all times by keeping the shutter fully and firmly opened. The shutter does not have to be cleaned regularly as dust does not affect its opening and closing movement. All the plastic parts are made of acetalic plastic with UV protection.
